A Visionary Somatic Session for Coaches, Healers & Creatives Who Are Done Settling

Visionary Somatic Insight Session

Most somatic work is built for regulation — helping you feel calm, safe, steady again. This session starts there, but it doesn’t stop there. It’s also a way in: to insight, to creative direction, to a knowing you can’t quite think your way to.

In this 90-minute session, through Visionary Somatic Insight — my unique somatic dance method — you’ll illuminate what’s been dimmed, reclaim your creative authority and aliveness, and leave with the clarity and courage to lead from the fire that started it all. No experience is needed. Just you, ready to remember.

You function well. You show up. You hold space for others, create work you’re proud of, and by most measures you are doing exactly what you set out to do.

And yet there is a flatness underneath it.

A quiet sense that something is missing, a slow dimming you’ve been carrying for longer than you’d like to admit.

You’ve talked it through. You’ve journalled it. You’ve done the inner work, read books, done courses and possilbly sat with some sages. You understand yourself very well. And yet you are still seeking..

The Visionary Somatic Insight Session

This is a bespoke 90-minute somatic inquiry — a guided process using movement, breath, inner listening and voice to access the intelligence beneath the mind.

In this session, we work with what your body is already holding.
The instinct that went quiet. The voice you stopped trusting. The version of you that’s ready to emerge.

You’ll leave with:

• A specific answer to something you’ve been circling in your head for weeks
• A decision made, not just clarified — something you can act on this week
• A concrete next step, not just a feeling of having “processed” something
• Words for a knowing your body already had, before you walked in

How does the Session work?

Once you make your booking, I will reach out to you to find out more about your specific circumstances, and a questionaire. This gives you space to reflect before we begin. Based on that I design a session especially tailored to what your needs.

We hold the session over zoom.
We begin with an opening and settling.
Then we move into the somatic enquiry and main part of the session.
The session comes to a close with a final integration, and reflection.

You receive a replay of the session to keep, a document outlining what emerged during the session, a momentum plan to move forwards with, and where appropriate suggested practices to continue to support you.

NB You may like to read this Blog on Somatic Clarity I wrote, that perhaps goes a little deeper into how this can work.

About Helene

I am Helene Su — somatic dance practitioner, MA researcher in movement and embodied presence, and the founder of Niio Dance. I have spent 20 years working at the intersection of movement, embodiment, and the question of what it means to feel fully yourself in your work and your life.

My research draws on the Chinese philosophy of heart-fire — the inner flame that animates creative and expressive life, and what happens when it goes quiet. The people I work with are not beginners.

They are deeply skilled practitioners and creatives who have done the inner work — and who are ready for something that reaches the places the inner work hasn’t reached yet.

I designed the Visionary Somatic Insight Session for the person who is ready to stop translating the body’s wisdom back into thoughts — and to let the body speak directly.

Your body knows the way home.

What clients say

So much lightness, joy and empowerment. Thank you for helping me rediscover myself in such a profound way

I've done a lot of coaching before, but this was very different — it allowed me to come out of my mind entirely. Instead of thinking about the answer, it came from more within my body. A lot of stuff came up, a lot came out, and it gave me two things: a deeper connection with my body, and the answers to something I'd been looking for.

Frequently Asked Questions about Visionary somatic insight session

Do I need any experience with somatic work or dance?

No. This session does not require any prior experience with movement, somatic practice, or dance. The practice works precisely because it does not ask you to perform or demonstrate anything. If you can breathe, you can do this.

Both. The session itself is embodied and non-linear — but you’ll also receive a replay to keep, a written document outlining what emerged, and a momentum plan for what’s next. Most people leave with a specific answer to something they’d been circling for weeks, or a decision they’d been putting off. This isn’t a substitute for thinking — it’s a way of reaching what thinking alone couldn’t get you to.

We meet on Zoom. You will need a private space where you can move freely — enough room to take a few steps in any direction. Comfortable clothing you can move in. No special equipment. The session is 90 minutes, and I ask that you keep the hour after the session free if possible — not because anything difficult will happen, but because the integration time is part of the work

No. This is a somatic practice session, not a therapeutic intervention. If you are currently in a period of acute mental health difficulty, I would recommend speaking with your therapist before booking. For most people, this session is deeply supportive — but it is not a substitute for clinical care.

Book a free 20-minute conversation. We will talk briefly about where you are and what you’re looking for, and I will tell you honestly whether I think this session will serve you.[Book a conversation →]

This session stands on its own — a single, focused meeting with yourself. It also works well alongside the longer containers: some people book it as personalised 1:1 support running parallel to Reclaim You or the Creative Fire series, others use it as their entry point before deciding whether a longer journey is right for them. There’s no wrong order.
